Material handling equipment is often sold in volume as part of a facility disposition — conveyor sections, racking, lift trucks, and cranes. Buyers typically want dimensions, capacity ratings, and whether equipment can be dismantled and palletized for transport.
What we look at
- Load capacity and dimensions (conveyor width/length, crane capacity and span, forklift lift capacity and mast height).
- Power source (electric, LP, diesel) for lift equipment.
- Whether equipment is bolted/anchored and what removal will involve.
- Quantity available, since material handling is frequently sold in lots.
- General condition and hours (for powered equipment).
What buyers typically ask
