Production lines are sometimes sold intact to a buyer who can relocate the entire line, and sometimes broken into component equipment sold individually. Which path makes sense depends on the line's age, configuration, and buyer demand for that specific process.
Intact vs. component sale
A newer, well-documented line with strong demand in its category is more likely to attract a buyer for the whole line. Older or highly customized lines are often sold piece by piece. We'll factor this into how the opportunity is evaluated.
Documentation that helps
Line layout drawings, a list of major equipment in sequence, and photos of the line running (if available) all help buyers understand what they'd be acquiring.
