Moving heavy or oversized machinery safely requires riggers experienced with industrial equipment — this is not general moving or trucking work. Rigging typically covers disconnecting, lifting, and loading equipment for transport.
Access and site conditions matter
Floor load ratings, ceiling height, door and hallway clearances, and dock or crane access all affect how equipment can be removed — and by whom. Noting these details when you submit equipment helps set realistic expectations.
Who typically handles rigging
In most transactions, the buyer arranges and pays for rigging and transport, though this is negotiated deal by deal. We don't provide rigging or transportation services ourselves.
Utility disconnection
Electrical, compressed air, water, and other utility connections typically need to be safely disconnected before equipment moves — usually by a licensed electrician or the appropriate trade, coordinated with the facility.
